Continuous innovation is more important and difficult than a product or model innovation. A new product or a new model is easy to copy, especially in China... The innovation only can make a company step ahead of other competitors, but not in the leading position for ever. Rules are used to be broken. Innovation today may be regular tomorrow. To be survived in the market, company should keep continuous innovating. The responsibility of managing team should encourage the organization to innovate all the time.

While more and more companies are aware of the importance of innovation, we should also pay attention on how to build it.
"People" count for much. As we saw in the video Ali showed us about that creative team, every member was passionate in creating new things, no matter they had instant usage or not. Such passion came from love and fun in the life. Thus, creating an open and fun environment, not that practical, also helps open our mind and let us think out of the box...

It’s sounds wonderful but difficult at all. For instance, Iphone should be the revolutionary products in the mobile phone industry. But in 4th OCT. 2011, when the new CEO declared the new products was Iphone 4S. Most of the consumers disappointed of it in respect that APPLE is regarded as an innovative company so it should be a new revolutionary product but not adjust exiguity. But it’s the strategy of the company, maybe the innovative product launch in short time in the future.

I think continue innovation is the status of innovation different from the style of innovation like product innovation, business model innovation and process innovation ect. each of the main kinds of innovatin need to be continuly implemented to keep leading a certain industry. For instance P&G,it has plenty of innovations, and keep continuous innvovation inspirit its core competition.

I agree that Apple will lanuch innovation production in the coming month due to Aplle excellent organization. for continuous innnovation i think the most important is the organization innovation and culture, which can break through the limitation of tranditional organization such as authority,multi-culture conflict, discussion of openness ,rational and freedom enable us to have more chance to touch the demand of end user , finally the creativity will be processed and be transfered to innovation product. No doubt most of company maybe have the chance to achieve a leading position in a short time depending on the one or two technical innvoation.But Continuous innovation should be rooted from the innovation organization.

Believe that it'll be the crucial moment for Apple. Noted the fact that Apple has temporarily stopped the stock dish today while the share price of other competitors have been surged markedly. The short-run influence of this issue could be vanished later on but whether Apple could carry forward the spirit of innovation of Steve is still yet to be seen. Considering the latest launch of iPhone 4S which disappointed the Apple fans so much, we are indeedy worrying about the prospect of Apple.

It's time to test the innovation system of Apple without its soul leader...

Surely, product is a part of business model. The product is main content in a business, while busines model is a stratigic way to make profit by distributing the product.
However, product innovation is a bit different from business model innovation. I understand product innovation is to add or reduce more features in the product or service, which can make it more satidfied to customer or increase customer's experence. When the product innvovation is expanded enough which leading the whole industry ruuning in another way, a new business model created. For instance, the features in Iphone is definitely the evolution of mobile, which can be stated as product innovation. While the lunch of apple store made Iphone a media platform instead of merely a phone, which is business model innovation, isn't it?

Yes! Successful Continuous innovation should embeded deep into the organization's culture. Therefore the organization could have capabilities of managing current business and being flexible and adaptable to meet future changes and demands
