How can we get so many innovation ideas?

From the CBI course, we know that innovation is the life of a company, but how can we get so many innovations ideas? Nowadays, every innovation will be copied at once, then how can we spring the innovation ideas again and again?

yes,it's a very realistic question,even when I read the case, I have think about it. When we read the case of HTC, Nintendo, Seiko, all of them face the same question: how can be continuously innovative? even the innovation idol,Apple, seems out of innovation now. it just release iphone 4s not iphone 5, which disappointed may apple fans. Innovation is a good and hard thing, when we have no innovation ideas, we should hold the traditional position tightly.

I guess the only way is to spend more time on thinking.

Compare what you meet in previous class and Pro. Ali class

It is different procedure with before class,
We must think how to do every time.
There is presure to push innovation.

If we meet 10 subjects which push us make different, we will be used to innovation.

I think most of the time innovation is born.

I think innovations can make innovators keep the leading roles and make more money than the competitors for at least a short time, which is the benefit and drivers of innovation. Besides the above, I think innovation happnes when problems are found. Once you are in trouble or you are going to get into trouble, you will think harder to avoid trouble and innovate. So maybe the source of innovation maybe the problem. To innovate means we should think more about the problems of the current business.

In the last hundred years, academicians all over the world payed a great attention on the doctrine of knowing and doing. why? He had told us how to know unknown things, and how to analyse and solve problems.
But unfortunately, we all foget to learn to them.

We as human being can not konw exactly the unknow things. However, with the experice both of ourselves and our ancestor as well as the common sense and statistics, we can predict the unknown future. Innovation, the similar principle, depend extremely on the market and customer as well as the operation experiece cumulated of a company. By study the customers' need, the process proedure, the relationship with partners and the strength/weakness of the company itself, a company can keep innovation.

Organizations should create an atmosphere where generating new ideas is a daily process instead of some kind of event held every one or two times per year.

I agree. It is probable that persons change but process is certain to keep it working.

That is why only one innovation is not enough during existing highly competitive business environment. Continuous innovation is the only way to keep survive.
